She’s just a 17-year-old girl who conquered the music world. But now, the Grammy-nominated artist has tapped into the fashion world, expanding her merch line to include kids’ and infants’ clothing. J-Lo has had quite the year with her grand 50th birthday celebration to getting engaged to Alex Rodriguez. But it looks like 2020 is already shaping up to be even bigger for the 50-year-old. And as she (and all her fans) anticipate her Super Bowl halftime show with Shakira next year, the fashion world has served us a fashionable update – she has recently been named as the new face of luxury brand Coach.

The American brand gave a big welcome to the multihyphenate on Instagram with a post depicting a quote from the actress on what she thinks of the brand. “Coach is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of.. it speaks to my personal style  – an uptown downtown mix.”

“#JLo, a big welcome to the Coach fam. The award-winning actress, singer, producer and entertainer is the new global face of Coach,” read the accompanying caption.

J-Lo on the other hand, excitedly teased for exciting things to come from the collaboration. Indeed, exciting days are coming as starting in the spring, Lopez will appear in ad campaigns for leather goods, ready-to-wear and footwear. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the collaboration builds on the longtime relationship between the two as Lopez has carried Coach bags as early as her 2002 music video for the song ‘All I Have’ with LL Cool J.
