Easy Popsicles For Hot Summer Days

Keep cool during the hot summer weather with refreshing homemade treats that will surely quench your thirst! Here are some drool-worthy recipes for you try out.

 

STRAWBERRY POPSICLE

Ingredients:

2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved

2 ½ cups orange juice

Zest of 3 oranges

½ cup agave nectar

Directions:

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a saucepan and simmer for about 15 minutes. Place the mixture in a blender and puree. Pour mixture into the molds and freeze overnight.

ROOT BEER FLOAT POPSICLE

Ingredients:

12 ounces of root beer

1 ¼ cups vanilla ice-cream, slightly softened

Directions:

Pour enough root beer to ¾ inch in popsicle mold

Evenly distribute spoonfuls of ice cream between popsicle molds. Fill to the top.

Freeze until firm.

FUDGE POPS

Ingredients:

½ cup of Nutella spread

1 ½ cups chocolate almond milk

Directions:

Whisk together the chocolate hazelnut spread and half a cup of the chocolate almond milk into a bowl. Gradually whisk the rest of the almond milk and pour into molds. Freeze for 4 hours or overnight.

PINEAPPLE ORANGE BANANA POPSICLE

Ingredients:

2 cups of fresh chopped pineapple

3 bananas, peeked

2 oranges, peeled

Directions:

Pulse all ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze.

WATERMELON POPSICLES

Ingredients:

1 whole watermelon

Fresh lime juice to taste

Directions:

Cut the watermelon into huge chunks and blend it with the lime juice until it becomes a smooth puree

Pour into popsicle molds and freeze for 4 hours or overnight
